Friends and family of Paul 'Trouble' Anderson come together to celebrate the unique impact he made on dance music culture across the years and genres in a special Birthday Boogie party on Sunday September 27th in honour of his heavenly birthday. United in their music to honour their DJ brother in arms, the cream of London clubland come together on the decks including DJs Marcia Carr, Roy The Roach, Linden C, Kid Batchelor, Jazzi Q, Dezzi D, AJ and Johnny Rogue from 6pm onwards at the Ton of Brix in Brixton.With Free Entry for all, everyone is invited in Paul’s own words to come and 'Boogie any way you wanna’… London's greatest ever DJ across the eras, Paul ‘Trouble’ passed away on December 2nd 2018 and since then his friends have put on parties every year to remember Paul and the huge impact he had on UK nightclub culture. One of London’s most famous club superstars whose career spanned four decades, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson could genuinely claim to have been at the forefront of most of the significant shifts in UK club culture. Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson is the legendary London DJ, Dancer and Club Culture Icon and his uplifting spirit continues to unite and inspire. From the youth clubs and soul scene of the Seventies right through to the global dance music festivals of today, ‘Paul Trouble’ Anderson was there at every turn. Clubs, roller discos, sound systems, warehouse parties, orbital raves, super clubs, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson did them all and usually first. His legendary club residencies included Crackers, the Electric Ballroom, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson’s The Loft and Bump N’ Hustle at the Bussey Building. Paul also delivered much talked-about guest performances everywhere from Ministry of Sound to the Sunrise and Clockwork Orange raves, the Southport Weekender Festival, 51st State Festival and Deep Into Soul events. Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson also hosted the Saturday night prime time dance Mix Show on Kiss 100 FM for 9 years in its heyday and tapes of his legendary mix shows are still being collected and swap hands for serious money. Paul is also heralded for helping break the careers of legendary Artists such as Barbara Tucker, Jocelyn Brown, Ultra Nate, Byron Stingily (‘Get Up Everybody’ was a Loft classic), Rosie Gaines (‘Closer Than Close’) and Michael Watford.
